Hello everyone!
Today's post is all about my trip to the Saatchi Gallery and a couple of beauty bits I bought from Boots. I hope you enjoy!
So today I decided to go to the Saatchi because I hadn't been in a while and thought it would be useful to have some pictures of the exhibition as inspiration for A2 coursework. I plan on going to the Tate Modern tomorrow, so keep your eyes out for a post about that trip too!
I really liked a lot of the art that was on show, which is surprising for me since I'm not a massive fan of modern art. If you're in the area, I'd recommend you go - it's free so what have you got to lose?
Here are a couple of pictures of my favourite pieces.
Ejercicio Superficial - Jose Carlos Martinat
Casa Tomada - Rafael Gomezbarros
Madre Perla V-11 - Jose Lerma
After the exhibition, I popped into Boots mainly for Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind/The Eraser concealer but it was out of stock. Instead, I picked up these goodies!
Real Techniques Expert Face Brush - £9.99
Masks - 66p each (usually £1 each)
Initially I was supposed to buy a powder brush from Ecotools but I ended up buying the Real Techniques brush instead, as I wanted to experiment more with using brushes to apply my BB cream. Ecotools powder brush..I'll come back for you ;-;
Reviews for all the products I bought should be up within a reasonable amount of time, especially one of the masks.
Thank you for reading and until then,
Chelli
